Centauro is a restaurant where the question is the starting point. Every dish is born from a curiosity: Is it possible to have a fish ice cream? Can you eat a cloud? How much personality can fit in a vegetable? The menu doesn't offer predictable answers — it invites you to explore flavours that challenge what you know.

What does "Cooking Questions" mean?

It is our method: every dish is born from a question. Sometimes absurd, sometimes uncomfortable, but it always leads us somewhere new. The questions appear in the menu and are shared by the team at the table.

What type of cuisine is served at the restaurant?

Centauro's cuisine is built on innovation. Every dish is born from a question with no obvious answer. If you're visiting Mendoza, the idea is that you can explore unexpected flavours, combinations that challenge the familiar, and gastronomic proposals you won't find anywhere else.

Do the dishes change frequently?

Yes. The menu evolves according to new questions, seasonal ingredients and experiments by the kitchen team. Each visit can be a different experience.

Does Centauro have any gastronomic recognition?

Yes. Centauro was selected by the Michelin Guide in 2024 and 2025, a recognition of the creative proposal and the team's work.

Does the restaurant offer delivery or takeaway?

No. The Centauro experience is the establishment itself.

Can I see the menu before visiting?

Yes. You can browse the menu at centaurorestaurant.com/menu and the wine list at centaurorestaurant.com/carta-vinos. Please note that some dishes may vary depending on availability and season.

Do you offer a tasting menu or pairing?

Yes. We have a 4 and 8-course tasting menu with pairings. You can also choose a premium pairing option.

How long does the tasting experience last?

The 8-course menu lasts approximately 2 hours. The 4-course menu takes around 1.5 hours. Both include pairings.

Do you offer non-alcoholic pairings?

Yes. We offer non-alcoholic pairing options including alcohol-free wine, beer, and mocktails from our menu (Sortilegio, Levedad, Primavera Centauro).

Are there vegetarian or gluten-free options?

Yes. The Centauro menu includes a diverse range of options for different dietary needs, including vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives.

Do you cater for guests with food allergies?

Yes. We recommend informing us of any allergies at the time of booking or upon arrival. Our team will do their best to adapt the experience without compromising it.

Where do your ingredients come from?

We work with local producers and ingredients from across Argentina: hake from Mar del Plata, prawns, trout, and vegetables from Mendoza's market gardens. Every ingredient has a name and an origin. Ask the team at the table.

What drinks and wines are served at the restaurant?

Centauro has a wine cellar featuring labels from different Mendoza regions. We also offer signature cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks designed to complement the experience.

Do you charge a corkage fee if I bring my own wine?

Yes. The fee is equivalent to the price of the least expensive wine on our list.

What are the restaurant's opening hours?

Open every day from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Is a reservation required to dine?

You can come without a reservation, but we recommend booking your table in advance.

How can I make a reservation?

What is the maximum number of guests per reservation?

We accept a maximum of 10 guests per reservation. For larger groups or events, please contact the team to coordinate.

How long will you hold my table if I arrive late?

We hold your table for 15 minutes past your reservation time. If you're going to be later, please let us know in advance so we can keep your spot.

Can I cancel or modify my reservation?

Yes. You can cancel or modify your reservation with at least 24 hours' notice by contacting the team.

Can reservations be made for private events or large groups?

Yes. Large group reservations are handled on a personalised basis. Contact the team to coordinate the details.

Yes. The restaurant is accessible for guests with reduced mobility.

Are pets allowed at the restaurant?

Pets are not accepted at Centauro.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept cash in Argentine pesos, US dollars or Brazilian reais. All credit and debit cards are accepted. We accept Mercado Pago; for other digital wallets, please check with our staff.

Do you issue invoices for companies?

Yes, we issue invoices (tipo A or C) according to the client's needs.
